Well there must be a point where you can't add any more to a characters development. As much as I love Drizzt(and salvatore), I wouldn't want R A Salvatore to keep writing books about him if he didn't feel 100% of his heart was in it. As for reading the books, I would read them in the order they were published definitely.
Belwar Dissengulp is a member of the deep gnome race, and one of the first among Faerun's races to place trust in the drow Drizzt Do'urden. Drizzt once spared his life, and Belwar returns the

Sep 24, 2020 路 I think there are a little over 300 books set in the Realms, and yes, 33 (with some spin-offs) of them are part of the Drizzt saga (Relentless just came out in July). Salvatore initially said he picked Icewind Dale as the setting for the first Drizzt trilogy because that was an area of Faerun that hadn't been developed at the time, so he kind
Sep 5, 2020 路 The books build on Drizzt鈥檚 journey throughout the world looking for purpose and a home. It鈥檚 a gripping story with character development, action and strong principles. 1) Homeland
Jun 16, 2009 路 I have read several drizzt books but not this trilogy, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and was impressed and a little sad that it is.still relevant today with undertones of racism that drizzt has to deal with due to being a.drow. It is.a.character I have always wondered why there hasn't been a fun or.tv show made especially with today's thinking.
The books chronicle Drizzt鈥檚 life and adventures in the fictional world of Faer没n, a land filled with magic, monsters, and political intrigue. As of 2021, there are a staggering 37 novels in the Legend of Drizzt series.
Jun 17, 2009 路 This is the origin book of Drizzt Do'urden. Book 1 of 37 and the second novel I have read in the series, the first being Book 4, The Crystal Shard. My hope is to be able to read the entire series. I quite enjoyed the story line. Not knowing much about the Drow elves this was a great introduction to the Drow as well as Drizzt.
WotC allowed HC to publish RAS; it wasn't an act of defiance on his side. WotC drool all over RAS' money, and try to put Drizzt's name in as many books as they can. On top of that, some WotC designers are hardcore Drizzt fanbois, to the point that the whole 3e->4e drow mess originated from them thinking that "b-but muh Drizzt isn't speshul enuff".
